The 2016 edition of the FNF magazine series continued with state-wide high school football publications in Texas, Florida, Georgia, Alabama, North and South Carolina.
More than 180,000 copies of the magazine series were distributed to newsstands in six states via major retailers including Walmart, Walgreen, CVS and major regional grocers. In addition, FNF’s Custom Cover Project fundraiser distributed thousands more magazines direct to fans at participating schools and copies could also be purchased on FNF’s official website – wwwFNFmagazine.com.
The theme of the 2016 magazine series was: “I Am FNF.” FNF’s cover stories took readers behind the scenes to discover people – like coaches, fans, team moms, referees, concessions workers, public-address announcers and athletic directors – who make high school football so great.
For the first time in 2016, the cover subjects for each of the five publications were selected by the fans. FNF opened the selection process through an online vote, and the top four vote-getters in each state earned spots on the cover of FNF. Unique to FNF Texas, the coverboy theme was “Small Town, Large Talent”, as the magazine featured some of the state’s top players that reside in small towns.
FNF magazine covered every varsity program in each state and did it with players, coaches, parents and fans in mind.
