I did not have to pleasure of knowing Jerry well. The occasional encounter on the edge of a sports field cheering on his beloved grandchildren in the many sports they play. When he was in town, he never missed a game no matter what the weather. Always a treat to see he and Toni there. After reading and hearing the many stories over the past week about what made Jerry special, I realized that I actually did know him quite well. He passed down many of these qualities down to Nicole who I have been so lucky to have in my life. Always positive. Always ready to help. Great sense of humor. Loyal. Family first. Loves life. Unwavering values. These run deep in the Baroncelli family and his legacy carries these qualities forward with them everyday. It’s woven into the fabric of who they are. And, I even see many of these qualities in his grandchildren, Noah, Ben and Abby. Lucky them, Lucky us. Rest in peace Jerry from a life very well lived and certainly very well loved.
