Overview:
Based in the Tampa-St. Petersburg area, A.E. Engine Media + Marketing is a national print and digital publisher of NASCAR, soccer and high school sports publications and websites. A.E. Engine operates a full service design group in addition to creating and executing events throughout the country.
A.E. Engine is currently seeking career-minded college students for several internship positions.
Students pursuing a degree in communications that have an interest in sports, in particular high school football, soccer and NASCAR. This is a position that can be fulfilled remotely although we prefer the individual to work in our office in St. Petersburg.
Intern will report to a dedicated staff member during the internship period.
Intern will assist in developing, writing and posting content for use in print and digital publications. Individual will also have the ability to be involved in podcasting and video production.
Intern will participate in staff meetings and gain experience in interacting in a professional environment.
Intern is required to have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Job Description:
The sports content intern will work on creating content for a variety of A.E. Engine properties including NASCAR Pole Position magazine, ROAR! Weekly Race magazine (digital), Friday Night Football magazine (high school football magazine), FNF Coaches magazine. The intern will assist in the development of content, editing and social media posting. For students interested in sports, this is a great opportunity to get great hands-on experience. Successful candidates will also be compensated for select contributions during the school year.
