The Montgomery South edition of the State Farm Friday Night Football Live Campus Tour got off to a very wet start — with a rain storm hitting prior to the game — on the campus of UMS Wright High School.

Arriving at UMS Wright, we found the Bulldog fans eager to take on the 6A giants, Mcgill-Toolen.  Across the stadium, Mcgill Toolen students were a wet, but colorful and spirited force.  Mcgill-Toolen dominated the field from the start. Though UMS Wright took control of the ball on occasion, their efforts proved futile. Mcgill-Toolen came away with a 41-16 victory.

Despite starting the season with a loss, UMS Wright fans are confident that the season will be a success.

We are also excited about another season on the road with the State Farm Friday Night Football Live Campus Tour. Each Friday, we will visit an Alabama school to determine how much they love high school football. We will bring all kinds of goodies and prizes.
